This beer is brewed in the German style of hefeweizen. Its appearance is a pale straw colour. The high protein content of the wheat beer and yeast gives this beer a cloudiness. The flavour has a predominant banana and bubblegum note that is given to this beer from the combination of the wheat and type of yeast used. The body of this beer is quite full and this is as a consequence of the beer being brewed as a full malt beer, there are no added sugars to this beer which can lead to a thinner bodied beer.
Amber Ale (5.5% Alcohol by Volume)
This ale is hop and malt driven. The significant proportions of Crystal and Cara malts provide much of the body that make this a full bodied ale. The goldings hops used finish it off with a nice balance. This is a beer for those who enjoy a fuller bodied ale.
Porter (6.2% Alcohol by Volume)
This is a porter that has been described as luscious. It is a big black ale in a winter style. It has bountiful toast and roast flavours from the dark and chocolate malts. The bitterness, the higher alcohol and the maltiness allow this ale to present as a balanced dark ale.
